Flaminio Umbrian Pearled Barley
Grown at the foot of the Umbrian Apennines, this barley does not need to be soaked and takes little time to cook.

Barley soup
Ingredients: 250 g of Flaminio pearled barley, 50 g of pancetta, onion, Flaminio Fruttato (Fruity) extra-virgin olive oil, meat broth, parsley, grated cheese.
Sauté the minced pancetta with the onion and Flaminio extra-virgin olive oil, adding salt and pepper to taste.
Once the onion is lightly browned, add the Flaminio barley and the boiling broth and cook for 20 minutes.
Remove from the flame, allow to rest for a few minutes, then add the minced parsley, grated cheese and the Flaminio extra-virgin olive oil.
