Società Agricola Trevi Il Frantoio, sinking its roots in the
sixties, was born in 1985 and is composed of 59 olive growers.
The
olive trees stretch in Trevi, Foligno and Campello
Sul Clitunno, in the heart of Umbria and in the
Protected Designation of Origin (D.O.P.) Umbria Colli Assisi -
Spoleto production area.
Olive
plants are in a limestone, rocky and very low in humus area, at an
altitude of 300-600 slm. , with a cold climate that does not allow
the reproduction of "olearea fly."
The
cultivar of our olive trees are Moraiolo (80%), Frantoio (15%),
Leccino (5%).
In
1992 Società Agricola Trevi Il Frantoio creates Flaminio
line reserved for the best restaurants and selected retailers.
In
1994 Società Agricola Trevi Il Frantoio is the first olive mill
in the world to receive the Quality Certification UNI EN ISO 9002,
renewed and adjusted up to UNI EN ISO 9001:2000.
In
1998-1999 season, Società Agricola Trevi Il Frantoio, is
the first olive mill in Umbria to receive the Certificate of
Conformity of D. O. P. ASSISI UMBRIA COLLI - SPOLETO.
From
the 2006/2007 season joined the system of traceability of
APROL Perugia, obtaining the CERTIFICATION TRACEABILITY UNI EN
ISO 22005:08. Today is the first, for quantity, to produce traced
extra virgin olive oil. Trace oil means to monitor and certify the
entire production process, from beginning to end, because each stage
of production contributes to the completion of a high quality, safe
and certified oil.
In
2006 Società Agricola Trevi Il Frantoio began to adapt to the
rigid standards BRC Food*, quality certification process,
recognized worldwide, to testimony of the constant engagement of the
Society regarding own customers for the supply of products and
services, all over the world. On 30 March 2007 has been certified! |
